I've had good intentions of joining in on The Andersons "Embrace the Camera" posts for months now. Today is finally the day! I love the concept behind it, which is basically to make a conscious effort to get in the frame with your kiddos. Too often (almost always!) I'm behind the camera (as many moms are) and I'd love to look back one day and actually see myself in some of the photos with my boys. As Anderson napped, Schafer and I grabbed the camera and had some fun. He is such a ham that I didn't have to try too hard to convince him. I give almost no direction when I take photos of him...because he usually comes up with something better than I would anyway. We snapped a few indoors (I did have to compete with his Nintendo DSi in those pictures,)and then we headed outside for popsicles -which is pretty much our regular routine during naptime. DSi and popsicles. Ha!
Popsicles, pictures and pretty weather. I'll take it!

New follower from Embrace the Camera. Love these sweet pictures!
lovelove them:)
Super cute pics April. I've had good intentions to "Embrace the Camera" as well, but have failed thus far. Maybe just maybe this will inspire me past my intentions!
Love the idea and love the pictures (as usual). Very cute boy!
AWESOME!!! I am SO going to do this! I think about it every now and then...I am always the photographer. Jer has to be prompted to even remember to take the camera, much less decide to take pictures, so I only get in the shot if I remember to specifically ask Jer to stop and take one. Which is about never. I love your pictures and the last one is my FAVORITE!!! You are the most adorable mommy and boy! :-)
All the pictures are great but that last one just takes the cake!
Love them, especially the one where S's nose is smooshed against your cheek. Priceless. So true about mamas being behind the camera and not in front often enough.
so adorable! glad you joined :) and i love your kids names!
