Baby Goes to School.

Well, baby goes to Mommy's Day Out, but who want to say that mouthful? So "school" it is! All was well until I got to the classroom door to hand my littlest munchkin over to his (very sweet!) teachers. I couldn't tell who was clinging tighter to the other - me or him. And once he was pried off my hip, I couldn't tell who was crying harder - me or him. Not sure when I became such a bawl bag, but I really did myself proud today. And I also managed to see every teacher, mother, father, etc. that I know on the way to my car. I don't think I ever cried dropping Schafer off at his first day of MDO, but maybe that's because he never cried when I dropped him off either. Ha! I twiddled my thumbs and paced and managed to show up only 15 minutes early for pick-up. I found a happy little person waiting on me with reports that he had a good day, loved his banana at lunch time, and sang himself to sleep at nap time. I love this baby so much! (Getting a picture this morning was just not happening what with trying to get all of us ready and out the door in one piece, so here's the "after" - which I actually kind of like because it's much more true to life with the crazy hair, messy shirt, and missing shoe. We only maintain an air of togetherness for about 5 minutes before we start falling apart. Ha!)

Love the outfit! I'll bawl like a baby when Reid goes off to school.
